Sherry Levin
Sherry has been building her brand as a motivator and mentor to young people in sports for over thirty years. Most recently, she has was appointed as the head coach of the USA Women’s Basketball Team in the Maccabiah Games, the International Jewish Olympics. Sherry leverages her coaching spirit and ability to lead in developing key management skills like organization, overarching vision, and engagement. She joined Orender Unlimited and Generation W in 2015, contributing her insights into creating inspirational programming and project management.
Before joining Orender Unlimited and Generation W, Sherry served as Director of Athletics for Beaver Country Day School for seven years. She supervised over 90 coaches, built up 43 sports teams to win 31 championships, and created innovative programming to engage the entire community, all while coaching the Girls’ Varsity Basketball team to five titles. The programming she initiated to further the school’s community included a Hall of Fame, Captain’s Circle, and mentorship programming for coaches.
Prior to working at Beaver Country Day School, Sherry spent seven years coaching Girls’ Varsity Basketball to two New England Championships and working with Alumni and Development at the New England boarding school Worcester Academy. Sherry contributed to the Board of Visitors’ Conference, which took the pulse of community leaders regarding the future of educational processes. She also helped run the annual Dee Rowe Scholarship Classic, a golf tournament which created scholarships for outstanding student-athletes. Her team organized programming around Reunion to further strengthen alumni connections with the school.
